Yes, I seem to have that problem with destruction magic... I tend to avoid it now.

...And is that a Sload. Why is such an... abomination here?

I dabbled in destruction and restoration. Not much in either though, since magic can go bad if you don't learn it right.

I only use it in... extreme circumstances. It tends to... end badly for all parties involved.

Depends on what you try to learn. Some magic is easy, some spells are just bloody incomprehensible.

Although, Alteration does sound like a handy school. Perhaps I should learn a little of it when I have time.

Thalmor are Altmer but ya don't seem to understand that all Altmer aren't Thalmor.

Hells, I just like em because they know Altmer are on top. Win a few battles and some medals for them and they retire you and make you into some sort of public figure.

Point must be made though, I'm not Thalmor. Too many politics and not enough to drink for my tastes.

Far as I'm concerned all Altmer are more or less pawns of their coated, 'benevolent' dictators. On another note, my gods it's like looking into a mirror. I don't sound like she does, do I?

Skipping over the hooting and shit-throwing of these other monkeys;

I consider myself quite adept with Destruction magic. I've been using it for most of my life. Supplemented with a working knowledge of Restoration and alchemy of course.
