Re: Greetings Again
Good to hear from you once again, Calith. Amelin and I have been traveling too often to bother with writing anything down of note sadly enough.

In spite of that it is heartening to know t*the rest of the word is blotted out and then followed by a scribble*

Or maybe he was attacked in the middle of writing. Or he could've simply lost his train of thought.

It's just a saying, Kestrel. You needn't worry such things.

Will explain later. Need to find sanctury in Winterhold's region. Somewhere with no people and horses cannot follow.

Good to hear you're still kicking, Calith.

Good luck with that, Winterhold's realm is more or less a wasteland. If you were to find a safe haven, you'd have to contend with it's current tenants to as well.

Re: Greetings Again
Hardly helpful. Is there nowhere you can speak of, not even just beyoned its borders? Even the locations of Dwemer ruins would be acceptable as of this moment.

Re: Greetings Again
Depends on where you are. If you are near the city itself, I say head to the northern ice fields. There are a few islands floating about that you can hide on. If you're further south, there are plenty of bear caves and caverns that you can hide in temporarly.
Just watch for the Falmer caves. I say stick to the bears.

Re: Greetings Again
I'm risking the threat of bears. There are too few places in the northern islands to truly take shelter. With luck I might be able to lure a few of the horseriders in here and dispose of them, they are not so capable in the dark.

Divines bless your blade, Calith. And make sure you have a source of fire of some kind. Be smart about this, and if you take risks then you make damn sure they're worth it.

Far too late for that, risktaking was what started this. Assuming I escape from this alive i'll likely be spending the next lifetime running from some very persistent foes.

If it gets too tough, you could always try getting onto Akavir. Though, if the stories are accurate, you'll need to bring an entire damn arsenal to survive there.

Considered that. I'd never make it by ship, not without considerable preperation and luck. Hammerfell could be worth the journey if it can be reached by land.
It also seems that not one of the well-meaning fanatics trying to kill me has yet figured out they cannot move silently in heavy armour. Useful that.

Why do people always think they can be quiet in full plate? Because they can't. Ever.

Because they're morons? Or maybe they just don't think to take off the armour first because it takes them half an hour just to get suited up.
And what exactly is chasing you, Calith? I would've assumed Thalmor if you didn't say 'well meaning'

No. Were it the Thalmor I would have been dead some time ago, this lynching mob lacks the discipline and spells of their justicars.
So far as I can tell these hunters are crusaders of a sort. Most of them bear icons of thenine eight and carry weapons of silver. They're certainly persistent bastards if nothing else.
Exactly why they are after me is a matter i'd rather not divulge, even in these tomes.

You can't, if anything if I have to be quiet I use leather armor, or Amelin handles that. I can hide and slit throats fine enough, but frankly someone of my size and grace usually leaves the cloak and dagger work to the experts.Kestrel wrote:Why do people always think they can be quiet in full plate? Wait...by the divines, I think I know who you're talking about but I'm not sure if they're still around. Some band out in the north calling themselves 'The Chosen Few' or something like that. Monster slayers of some kind according to what I've heard.Calith wrote:No. Were it the Thalmor I would have been dead some time ago, this lynching mob lacks the discipline and spells of their justicars.

You would know of that better than I, they are far more interested in exchanging blows with me rather than names. Is there anything which I could specifically recognise them by? It would also be helpful to know if these groups ever travel to Whiterun.

Re: Greetings Again
For one, they tend to dress for winter more often than not. And far as I know the Jarl of Whiterun doesn't seem to look favorably on 'unrecognized bands of brigands' running around in his turf. Which is odd, considering the Companions bunk there and all.
