So; strange network of magic ledgers, seems I'm back to communicating with you all. Since we kind of ran off, Amelin and I have been scouring the lands in search of fortune.

Now, to get the mammoth out of the room.

Arla, I'm sure you're angry over me more or less leaving you but...truth is, it was better that we split ways after we passed the borderlands. I knew you could find your way home with the map I lent you, and before you start saying you'll return it, don't worry. Keep the damn thing. I'm better off in Skyrim for now anyways. As I write this, Amelin and I have become travel companions...more or less. Not sure what she's doing right now though, I'm just keeping watch over the camp writing in a book I know is cursed somehow.

Gods, I could use a drink. I wonder if we still have that ale Amelin introduced me to...

I'll see if I can do that sometime, it'll be a while before I can go back to Imperial lands again though.

Anyways; Amelin, where'd you store the ale again? I could've sworn we had a pack for the drinks but I can't seem to find it anywhere ever since we were in Falkreath village again.

I probably did, I remember dumping it all someplace when you looked ready spew your guts. Or was it that other fellow we drank with, the dunmer with the trimmed beard who kept staring at your arse.

If that was the case, ale was almost gone anyways. And packs around here are a septim a dozen, not to mention it was probably for the best. I'm just surprised I'm not as angry as I thought I'd be.

(Heh, now Arla's got me doing it...)

Oh, you drank well enough. It's the other guy who's probably woken up sans his trousers in a barn by now. Then again, you had me watching your back as always. Feels odd, normally you're the one saving my hide from trouble.
