Dream a little dream (closed)

Snuggled and slightly tipsy, Arla Neerus drifted off to sleep. She felt the warmth of another, the softness of the blankets, the perfect amount of support in the bed. All these little things making her relax. Peaceful, safe, happy.

She awoke with a start.

Rubbing the sleep from her eyes she realized she was nude, she shrieked and went to pull up her blanket only to realize it was gone. She went to her wound, it to had vanished.

"where.."

Arla looked around. She was naked. In the forest. At night.

That bitch had drugged her and brought her out here to do Nine knows what to her. Everything felt fine though. And the fact that her wound was gone meant something must have been up with that potion.

"Hello!?"

She called out into the forest. Only the moon above and the trees around her. She shivered and started walking, determined to survive her trials again.

That was when she heard it. The howling. A glimpse of yellow eyes in the trees ahead of her. Dark shapes moving silently.

"Nine preserve me.."

She sprinted away from them deeper into the woods, the only answer to her prayers was the howling behind her.

The Moon lowered behind him, his form a dark spot on the pure whiteness of the orb. Hounds at his feet, he gave the signal and they sprinted after the girl

"Run Mortal Prey. The Hunt has begun"

Branches tore at her skin as she stumbled through the growth. She felt like her heart was going to explode as she ran. They were close. She could feel their eyes on her back.

"No gods no...this can't be happening...gods help me..." It was almost a chant as she ran. Wait, that is an opening! The path before her free of trees and roots to slow her down.

Her bare feet kicked out as she sprinted, She could feel pine needles digging into her feet. A light ahead, freedom from these things.

"Yes..yes...yes..almost..." Suddenly a beast appeared before her. She screamed and turned away from it, running hard. Nine...there was another. She turned sharply again. The hot breath on her neck.

This is how it was going to end. She kept running though. Never give up hope. Wait was that th-

The teeth tore into her neck, so many teeth. She tumbled to the ground, a weight on her back. More claws pinning her down. Dozens of razor sharp slashes at her back. She felt the teeth again, a tendon being torn from her shoulder. Warmth splashed over her skin. It was her blood... No tears Arla. You asked for this. Say your prayers and go to sleep. Another chunk was torn from her body, She thought it might have been her leg, when she opened her eyes. A man was standing there. A man with horns.

She moaned something at him, begging for help or an end to this torture.

"Well done little one... I'll see you tomorrow."

Arla gurgled something as blood began rising in her throat. The man raised a spear, driving it down through her sk-

"SKULLL!"

Arla awoke screaming. Her shoulder ached from rapid healing but she was still alive... She checked her body over. Same clothes she fell asleep in, same everything.

Nine...it was just a dream. She hopped out of the bed, feeling better. Smiling at the rapidly fading nightmare, she opened a window, taking in the fresh Skyrim air.

It smelled amazing but it gave her a whiff of herself

"Ugh...I smell like a dog."
