Helping show how nice you actually are? Because what you wrote shows that you are a nice guy under all that gruff. I met a merchant like that once. Rude, kicked dogs, that sort of thing. But there was a fire in the Imperial city and he ran in and pulled out kids and adults, then he helped pay for the rebuilding.

I think you are a lot like that man.
