Well, I'd start with The Book of Daedra, and Aedra and Daedra. I know of a few that might be more of your particular interest, but I'd start with a broader background. Remember, knowledge is power.

Not true. Knowing history and arcane lore is just as if not more important to a good mage than spell tomes. You lack inspiration, your mind weak.

I'd comment on my magic being anything but weak, but I'm not quite in the mood to boast to a magic book.

I did not say your magic was weak, I have no way of knowing how powerful your magic is. Your mind, however, is. You lack the discipline. True power comes from knowledge, not parlor tricks; however damaging they may be.

Discipline is not something that is learned from books. Books cannot teach you to work in a mine for twelve hours a day for pittance just to live. Books cannot teach you how to swim against offshore currents even at death's door. Books did not teach me to survive.

You again misunderstand me. Your body is, or at least was, disciplined. Your mind is another matter. You care too much for the worldly. True power of the mind can only be attained by through study of the ancients and meditation.
